Information stored on your device
Tola stores the information you enter—including tasks, dates, recurrence settings, reminders, completed items, and app preferences—locally on your device. Tola does not operate a server that receives or stores this content.
If you use a home-screen widget, the app shares the minimum task information needed to display that widget through storage provided by your operating system on the same device.
Information we do not collect
The Tola mobile app does not collect or transmit:
- Your task content or reminder details
- Your name, email address, or other account information
- Analytics, advertising identifiers, or usage profiles
- Precise location, contacts, photos, or files
Reminders and device permissions
If you enable notifications, Tola asks your operating system for permission to schedule reminders. Reminder processing happens locally on your device. You can change notification access at any time in your device settings.
Tola may read your device's current time zone so reminders can be scheduled correctly. That value is used on the device and is not sent to Tola.
Backups and deletion
Tola does not provide its own cloud sync. Your operating system may include app data in a device backup depending on the backup settings you control with Apple or Google.
You can delete individual tasks and completed items in the app. Uninstalling Tola removes its locally stored app data from the device, subject to any device backups managed by your operating system.
Website
The Tola website does not use advertising cookies or analytics. Like most websites, its hosting provider may process standard request information, such as an IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. That processing is governed by the provider's infrastructure and security practices.
Third-party services
The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or cloud-sync services. When you download Tola or use operating-system features, Apple, Google, or your device manufacturer may process information under their own privacy policies.
Children's privacy
Tola does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. The app's local-only data practices are the same for everyone.
Changes to this policy
If Tola's data practices change, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
